Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Accounting Manager to support our dynamic manufacturing operations in our Long Island corporate office. This is a critical, customer-facing role that blends financial expertise with strategic insights to drive performance, enhance pricing decisions, and support plant-level metrics. Key Responsibilities:
Analyze plant performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with department leaders.
Perform in-depth financial modeling and variance analysis to support leadership decisions.
Provide strategic pricing recommendations and partner with cross-functional teams to guide cost and margin decisions.
Track key performance indicators and develop reports focused on plant efficiency and cost reduction.
Support capital project analysis, asset utilization planning, and new product financial evaluations.
Provide audit support and ad hoc reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA preferred).
5+ years of financial analysis or cost/general accounting experience in a manufacturing setting.
Experience with ERP implementation and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information with integrity.
